Kevin Bridges What's The Story, Wednesdays on BBC1 at 10.45pm

The long awaited BBC 1 series Kevin Bridges – What’s The Story starts (8th February) at 10:45pm for six weeks.

Show one sees Kevin exploring the subject of Growing Up, and the stories behind his award winning stand up routines.

Special guest is Frank Skinner, who was the inspiration for Kevin getting started in the world of stand up comedy.

But Kevin Bridges - who had the honour of sitting next to the footballer on Saturday's night's Jonathan Ross Show - managed to. 

And just like the sporting superstar, he has women throwing themselves at him.

The Scottish comic reveals: "One night I was in a pub carrying drinks and a girl bumped into me and said, 'Watch what you're doing, you fat p***k.'

Kevin Bridges – What's The Story debuts on BBC1 in early February

The long awaited Kevin Bridges BBC1 series entitled Kevin Bridges – What’s The Story is due to start on Wednesday 8th February at 10:45pm, and will run for six weeks. The half hour show sees Kevin joined throughout the series by special guests Micky Flanagan, Jack Whitehall, Sarah Millican, Jack Dee and Frank Skinner as he travels the UK and America explaining the stories behind some of his best known comedy routines.

Comedy Central: News | Kevin Bridges sells out 5 nights at the Glasgow SECC

25-year-old Glaswegian wonder boy Kevin Bridges has sold out five dates for his upcoming tour in one day.

Tickets for his ‘The Story Continues…’ tour went on sale on Friday and by 6pm he’d shifted a massive 45,000 tickets at his home town’s SECC arena alone…all for October next year!

Only the likes of Billy Connolly, Peter Kay and Lee Evans have enjoyed such first day sales figures and now he’s one of the best-selling comedy acts to ever be booked at the venue.

Naturally, a sixth date has been added at the Glasgow SECC and Kevin Bridges fans will be pleased to know his tour does extend past Glasgow including two nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

KEVIN BRIDGES - THE STORY CONTINUES

Kevin returns to the road in the Autumn of 2012 with a brand new show called the 'The Story Continues...' which follows up the huge success of his sell-out UK & Ireland tour of 2010. Having made his debut on BBC 1's 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow' in 2009 he has now gone on to host the Bafta nominated 'Live At The Apollo' and Channel 4's 'Stand-Up For The Week'. His new 6 part BBC 1 series - 'Kevin Bridges What's The Story' will be transmitted in February, 2012 and a new DVD - 'Kevin Bridges The Story Continues...' will be recorded in Oct, 2012 at the Glasgow SECC Arena for November 2012 release.

Stand Up For The Week Returns

Stand-Up For The Week returns to Channel 4 on Sat 12th March at 11.10pm for a run of 10 weeks. Joining new host Kevin Bridges will be team regulars Rich Hall, Jack Whitehall, Andi Osho and new member Jon Richardson.
